“But when faced with the darkest parts of myself, I had to make one incredibly important decision: I had to choose to live.”

About Lauren Stone

Hi new friends, I’m a writer, storyteller, and creative.
But that’s just skimming the surface...

In 2018, I was diagnosed with eating disorders and realized I had been navigating life with ADHD and depression for over a decade. By 2020, my mental health hit rock bottom, and I faced a life-changing choice: to keep going, or give up. I chose to live.

Since then, I’ve been on a journey of recovery, building a life with my husband, Jason, and our two dogs, Miles and Potato. Along the way, I’ve learned that growth comes through the bumps, the mistakes, and the moments of courage.

I share stories of mental health, healing, and personal growth through writing, storytelling, and connection, aiming to break stigma and offer hope — while also celebrating joy, adventure, and the everyday moments that make life meaningful.

Jason and I converted a 2019 Ram ProMaster into our full-time van, embracing van life as we explore the world and search for new places to call home. In 2021, I published my first book, In Body I Trust, a fictional memoir inspired by my own experiences with mental health struggles, resilience, and self-discovery.

I invite you to join me in feeling what we need to feel, learning from the obstacles along the way, and remembering that none of us are truly alone on this journey called life. Thank you for trusting me and becoming part of this community.

I’m so happy you’re here.
